WELCOME TO THE VILLAGE OF MALTA ON THE WEB!
Malta is a quiet little community on the Muskingum River in Morgan County,
Ohio. Our population only numbers 696. Our community is best known for the
deer hunting opportunities, fishing, and boating on the river. We have a
beautiful park along the river in Malta where you can launch a boat, have
a cookout, fish, let the children play on the playground or just sit in
our quaint gazebo and let the world go by.
We are actively seeking new industry or businesses to relocate in our area to provide more jobs. The CIC has purchased a manufacturing facility located in Malta which has space for several businesses.
We welcome all visitors to Malta and you'll find our residents to be
